Alexander Levin is a Principal at BLD Group. Prior to BLD Group, Mr. Levin was a member of Morgan Stanley’s Global Capital Markets Division on the Fixed Income Capital Markets (FICM) team based in New York City. While at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Levin assisted in the origination, structuring, and sale of over $70 billion in corporate bonds, loans and related derivative instruments, including interest rate swaps, cross currency swaps, and swaptions. As part of the FICM team, Mr. Levin also worked on numerous M&A financing packages, including Cigna’s $67 billion acquisition of Express Scripts and Bristol-Myers Squibb’s $90 billion acquisition of Celgene. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Levin managed industry standards and strategic relations for the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council (CREFC), including overseeing several major overhauls of the CREFC Investor Reporting Package®, the post-securitization reporting mechanism for U.S. Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS) transactions. Mr. Levin received his B.A. from Wesleyan University in 2012 and his M.B.A from Columbia Business School in 2017
